COURSES & COURSE FEES

1 CANCELLATIONS BY YOU

1.1 You may cancel your place on a course up to one month before the course start date. Under these circumstances you will be entitled to a full refund of course fees, less the required deposit fee for the course purchased, if a deposit is required to reserve your course.

1.2 If you wish to cancel within one month of the course start date on any course, you will not be entitled to a refund.

1.3 If you have purchased a One-week or Two-week class and wish to cancel within one month of the course start date, you will not be entitled to a refund. However, at our discretion and subject to availability, you may be able to use the course fee on these courses only as a credit towards a future course.

1.4 If you have booked a course within one month of its start date, conditions 1.2 will apply.

1.5 Refunds of cash bookings can only be made by bank transfer.

1.6 We can not offer refunds for travel or accommodation costs that you may have incurred as a result of booking a SFS course.

1.7 If you are refused entry to the Canada, you will not be eligible for a refund of course fees.

1.8 If you require a visa for entry to the Canada and your visa is delayed, you will also not be eligible for a refund of course fees. At our discretion, however, we will consider transferring you to another course at a later date.

Please note that refunds can take up to three weeks to process.

2 CANCELLATIONS BY US

2.1 Please note that courses have minimum attendance levels and may be cancelled if too few bookings are received. We reserve the right to amend or cancel courses.

2.2 If we cancel a course we shall endeavour to give you at least one week’s notice. You will have the option of transferring to another course or having a full refund of the fees, which we will return to you within three weeks.

2.3 We will not be liable for any losses (including, but not limited to, travel and accommodation costs) arising as a consequence of any modification or cancellation of courses or timetabling constraints as set out above, beyond the cost of the course fee.

3 NON-ATTENDANCE

3.1 If you are unable to attend a class or classes due to illness, or for personal or professional reasons, you will not be entitled to a refund, extra tuition or to automatically transfer to another course. However, we will consider such action that we believe to be fair and reasonable.

3.2 Please note that if alternative options are offered, there may be an additional charge.

4 GIFT VOUCHERS: SPECIAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS

4.1 Gift vouchers are purchasable online and sent directly via email to the purchaser.

4.2 SFS gift vouchers are issued in £ sterling and are redeemable online against SFS courses only.

4.3 Your gift voucher is valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.

4.4 Your gift voucher is non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash/credit, and cash/credit refunds will not be available for purchases made with the voucher.

4.5 SFS gift vouchers are redeemable against SFS in-house courses only, but not against SFS ONLINE courses.
